· Worked on chracterization and divergence study in fifty on landraces of rice based on different morphological parameters following DUS test applying different statistical tools and techniques from April, 2004 to March, 2011 at the Cytogenetics laboratory; Biotechnology Unit of Kalyani University, Nadia, West Bengal-741235. The results of the investigations were incorporated in the Ph.D. (Science) thesis.

· Worked on in vitro studies on different aromatic traditional rice landraces of West Bengal using biochemical and molecular tools and techniques and following other methods of tissue culture.
